More than likely one of your satanic neighbors.  We have them too also on this street.  We get our mailbox smashed about once a year.  This year, so far, it was more than likely a snow plower.

THIS is why we won't let our cats out for any reason.  Too many cat enemies out there, besides enemies of us who also would harm any of the cats. We have neighborhood dogs, huge eagles, and mean ass people who love to smash mailboxes.  Our cats stay inside until the world quits sucking and evil is ended.  Until then.... NO way Jose!
