The miraculous (and almost unbelievable) health benefits of spices
Martin at Life Enthusiast < martin@email.life-enthusiast.net >
Hey _____ — Martin here,
Not that long ago I recorded a podcast episode with Dr. Cass Ingram to talk about spice oils.
Dr. Ingram is a Doctor of Osteopathy — meaning, he’s one of the rare doctors today that focus on whole-body healing instead of only trying to treat symptoms. He’s also written several well liked health books and is a wealth of knowledge around herbs, spices and their extracts.
The insights he shared during our podcast episode are truly remarkable.
Whether you suffer from high blood pressure.. a foggy brain.. allergies.. parasites.. fungal infections.. autoimmune disorders.. memory issues or Alzheimer’s.. or you just want to build up your immune system and fend off fungi, viruses, parasites, and bacteria, there’s a spice that can help you.
The best part about spices is that since they’re edible, they have absolutely no negative repercussions or side effects for your health.
I’m going to do my best to summarize my conversation with Dr. Ingram, but I highly encourage you to check out the 29-minute interview here.
There are several spices you should know about — and their unique benefits.
So let’s dive into it…
Spice #1 — Allspice
Allspice is one of the four antiseptic plants (alongside garlic, onion, and oregano), meaning it prevents the growth of disease-causing microorganisms. Allspice’s claim to fame is that it’s a germicide. But it’s also considered an insulin protective — meaning it helps with your glucose levels and brain function (since your brain is the biggest consumer of glucose in your body).
We don’t offer any Allspice products in Life Enthusiast but it is widely available anywhere you shop. And you can easily add it to most meals you cook.
Spice #2 — Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a great thing to have on your spice rack — especially if you struggle with your glucose levels. Since cinnamon is so sweet, it actually “mimics” insulin, which helps preserve your pancreas because it tells your brain it doesn’t need to keep pumping insulin through your body.
More:
Even the cheap, two dollar cinnamon you can find in any grocery store drops your blood pressure by 20%!
And it’s been proven to cause some neural regeneration in your brain too.
The cheap, two dollar cinnamon is enough for most people. But if you want to make it even easier to get your cinnamon, or if you really struggle with your blood glucose levels, then I’d recommend using Cinnamol.
Cinnamol is a combination of cinnamon extract and extra virgin olive oil. So just a couple droplets under your tongue and you’re set!
(It’s also an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and has antimicrobial, antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral properties.)
You can order Cinnamol here (and save 15%): https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-cinnamol/?ref=55
Spice #3 — Cumin
Cumin is another spice that helps manage your glucose levels and insulin. But it also contains cuminaldehyde — which is an antioxidant that prevents the aging process, making it great for your skin.
It’s also great for cardiovascular support and your brain. There’s a particular phenolic compound in cumin oil which blocks oxidative damage in your brain.
And it's a good antifungal (fungus and mold causes more health problems than you’d think).
Cumin is super easy to add to your foods, like all the spices I’ll be listing today. But, if you’d like to make getting your cumin even easier, North American Herb & Spice created Cuminol — which contains extra virgin olive oil and wild cumin oil, as well as wild fennel oil and Oreganol P73.
Fennel helps with gut issues and obliterated hookworm way back in the 1800s. And Oreganol P73, made from oregano, is Dr. Ingram’s all-time favorite spice (which I’ll cover more in a bit).
If you’d like to order a bottle of Cuminol, you can do so here: https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-cuminol/?ref=55
Spice #4 — Bayleaf
Bayleaf is an extremely potent germicide and antifungal. We don’t carry bayleaf in Life Enthusiast, but again, it’s widely available in most grocery stores.
Spice #5 — Rosemary
Rosemary is a powerful antihistamine.
Quick story:
About 15 years ago or so, I used to suffer from maddening seasonal allergies. That’s when I stumbled upon North American Herb & Spice’s Rosemanol. I used to mix around 12-15 drops in my juice because it was the only remedy that didn’t make me want to gouge my eyes out because they were so itchy!
But that’s not the only thing rosemary is good for.
It's main claim to fame is preventing neurodegeneration in your brain and spinal cord.
So if someone has Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory loss, mental alertness problems, concussion injury, stroke injury, paralysis, rosemary helps you block that oxidative damage.
It also helps reduce inflammation.
Again, you can find rosemary in any grocery store. But if you want to make your life easier, you can order a bottle of Rosemanol here: https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-rosemanol/?ref=55
Spice #6 — Cilantro
Cilantro helps you detox heavy metals because it binds the mercurial compounds. It’s especially effective against mercury overload, the Autistic spectrum, ADD, ADHD, and all other autoimmune conditions. It is also known as coriander oil,
Again, cilantro or coriander is widely available in grocery stores, but for more severe versions of the conditions I named above (or just to make it easier to get enough cilantro daily), I recommend checking out Cilantrol — which is made with mountain-grown cilantro seed extract and Oreganol P73.
You can order a bottle of Cilantrol here: https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-cilantrol/?ref=55
Spice #7 — Clove
Clove is a sweet spice that’s highly anti-parasitic.
And again, you can grab it from your local grocery store or check out Clovanol — which is clove extract mixed with extra virgin olive oil.
You can order a bottle of Clovanol here: https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-clovanol/?ref=55
Spice #8 — Sage
Sage is a remarkable spice that helps with nerves, memory problems or Alzheimer’s, and hot flashes. But it’s also great against fungi — whether you suffer from jock itch, toenail fungus, or even vaginal fungal problems.
It’s also antiviral — and especially effective against Herpes, Epstein Barr, and Lyme disease.
However, not all sages are edible.
That’s why I recommend grabbing Sagenol — which is created from a specific type of edible sage that helps with all the problems I mentioned above.
You can order a bottle of Sagenol here: https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-sagenol/?ref=55
Spice #9 — Oregano
Oregano is the King of All Spices according to Dr. Ingram. (Which is why it’s combined with several of the spice oils I mentioned above).
Oregano oil is truly remarkable. Among many other things, it is an antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal. Unlike antibiotics, pathogens do not develop resistance to it. In other words, it PURGES pathogens from your body. It also melts mold spores, kills brown mold, black mold, green penicillium mold, rust molds, and destroys candida.
If you have any kind of chronic illness, oregano oil can be very effective because it treats many of the root causes for chronic conditions.
Oreganol P73 is the specific type of wild oregano oil you want and you can order a bottle here: https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-oreganol-p73/?ref=55.
Spice #10 — The Total Body Purge
If Oreganol P73 is the King, Total Body Purge is the Queen.
Total Body Purge contains apple cider vinegar, olive oil, black seed oil, high bush cranberry, dandelion leaf, burdock leaf, nettle, fireweed extracts, sage oil, rosemary oil, fennel oil, and cilantro oil.
Because of all these high quality ingredients, it’s great for serious pancreatic diseases and serious cases of diabetes.
It also takes care of the parasites that Oreganol P73 doesn’t cover.
It’s called Total Body Purge because it purges disease processes, purges extreme toxic elements that destabilize your body, and purges out any fungus — which is a huge cause of destabilization of our health.
And it helps your liver become healthier because you’re increasing the glutathione production.
If you’d like to order a bottle of Total Body Purge, you can find it here:
https://www.life-enthusiast.com/shop/north-american-total-body-purge/?ref=55
If you could only take two of these spice oils, I'd recommend Oreganol P73 and Total Body Purge (barring you don't suffer from any of the problems that any of the spice oils specifically help with).
Remember:
Oreganol P73 is the King and Total Body Purge is the Queen.
