[Vaccination-Liberation] URGENT: Colorado being attacked by Vaccine Zealots

Attention ALL Vactivists,

It is really important that we don't let Colorado go the way that Washington, Oregon and California have gone regarding our right to abstain from state mandated vaccines. If you know ANYONE in Colorado who has an inkling as to how important this fundamental right is - to decide what will or will NOT be injected into our bodies or our children's bodies without state propaganda being shoved down our throats wasting precious resources and time - FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO THEM TODAY.

Oppose HB14-1288, restrictions to personal belief exemption

HB14-1288 was introduced on Feb. 20, 2014.  This bill is sponsored in the house by Representative Pabon and co-sponsored by Representatives Court, Gardner, Gerou, Ginal, Labuda, McCann, McNulty, Peniston and Schafer. The senate sponsor is Senator Aguilar and Senators Guzman, Todd and Ulibarri are co-sponsors.

The bill will require parents who choose to delay or exempt their child/children from one or more of the vaccines required for school in Colorado for personal belief reasons to obtain the signature of a physician, a physician's assistant, an advanced practice nurse, or an authorized representative of the Dept. of Public Health and Environment or Public Health Agency AND a certificate of completion of an on-line education module developed by the Infant Immunization Program at the Dept. of Public Health and Environment.

The bill allows the State Board of Health to determine the content of the information and how often parents will have to submit to the new requirements.

Schools will be required to make the immunization and exemption rates of their student population publicly available.

If passed, the new law would go into effect July 1, 2015.

One of the justifications for this law is the recent outbreaks of pertussis, which they are claiming is due to under and un-vaccinated children. There is so much documentation showing that repeated DTaP shots actually weaken the immune system to the point where recipients of the vaccine are MORE vulnerable to whooping cough and many nurses will attest to the fact that whooping cough int he vaccinated is MORE severe than in the unvaccinated. Also, mega doses of vitamin C have been used successfully in dealing with whooping cough effectively. Bottom line - parents should NOT have to ask for permission from the state in order to determine what medical procedures they are willing to risk for their children....period.
