But sometimes when we try to form a new perception of the text, other existing ideas contaminate our new ambitions. The rapture is a big topic among scholars, pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation and post-tribulation. All of them believe at some point the church will be raptured before a traumatic event or series of events (Tribulation, reign of the AntiChrist, bowl judgements etc.).
