Co-factors are important:
Main cofactors:
L-Tyrosine (amino acid). Needed for production of T4 thyroid hormone.
Selenium. Needed for conversion of T4 (inactive) to T3 (active)
We use the L-Tyrosine from PureBulk.com as there are NO excipients or other ingredients, and comes in a safer BSE-free bovine gelatin capsule.
You can get either the Biotics Research Aqueous selenium liquid, or get the 3rdi 5% iodine with selenium added from Jimmy Pitticus.
Other co-factors:
Magnesium
Vitamin C (we use Sodium Ascorbate from NutriBiotics)
Copper & Zinc
The Liver MUST be cleaned and cleared (both physically and energetically) for the T4 to T3 conversion to take place.
NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine): To assist detoxification, glutathione production, clear up fatty liver, and especially dissolve myxedema (mucin deposits) often seen on hypothyroid sufferers. Myxedema is like a type of metabolic waste, and one of the "hardenings of the body", as I have termed it. We now use NAC from PureBulk.com, since it is also free of excipients/nasty other ingredients and it also is available in safer gelatin capsules.
Inositol: Helps with fatty liver and detoxification.
We use a bulk powder of the Myo-inositol, as it kind of has a sweet taste and it's easy to drink in a glass of water. There is a D-chiro brand of inositol which is great for polycystic ovaries and helps with fertility.
See: https://messiahmews.blogspot.com/2016/11/inositol.html
Choline and/or Phosphatidylcholine:
Phosphatidylcholine Preferably one derived from sunflower as opposed to soy lecithin.
d-limolene essential oils: (lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, wild orange), these help dissolve liver/gallstones. Terpenes and carvacrol from oils will help too.
Lipase enzymes: Helps to digest and dissolve fats.
