Oregon and Washington State bills defeated
More great news. Yesterday evening it was confirmed that
House Bill HB 2009, a Washington State bill that would eliminate
exemptions from vaccine mandates for secular reasons, was dead for the
remainder of the legislative session! Yesterday afternoon we heard
that the Democratic State Senator in Oregon who introduced a bill to
eliminate exemptions from mandatory vaccines in Oregon decided to
withdraw the bill in response to tremendous opposition.
There are efforts to reduce or eliminate vaccine rights in
almost every state. Please click on the Take Action link to send the
following stories, one from the Oregon Statesman, and the other from ABC
News in Washington, to your state legislators letting them know that
limiting parental vaccine rights is an idea whose time has not come.
