The Daily Messenger: For Flynnpaws and Donna

The Daily Messenger: For Flynnpaws and Donna: Tink on duty, Mike chilling...

Tink on duty, Mike chilling...

Mike, who patrols the entire hillside, has scars all over his body. 2 weeks ago, his legs were so badly mauled, you could see his bones and tendons. We load up his water bowls with colloidal silver, he never gets sick or any infection. FYI. He still has a bad limp. 2 years ago, half his face was ripped clean off, from a fox he stopped from coming in the yard. For such a small kitty, he has courage galore....

We love Tink and Mikey very much too!

Breezy and us sends you ALL some buggles and lovies!  Breezy has been in a lovable mood towards me today.  It's been one nice big bugglefest.  See previous post.  http://messiahmews.blogspot.com/2018/06/extra-lovies-and-buggles-for-me-today.html

And as I had Mikey's pic on the screen, he was looking at Mikey for a few seconds, and I asked Breezy to send Mikey some love.

Buggles and Lovies to Don & Boys.
And Buggles & Lovies to Mikey and Tink!

We love all of you and all these kittehs!

Tink has hoovies for buggling legs when they are close by. No claw, just...Tink.
I shout, CHOKE HOLD, TINK! CHOKE HOLD.

And she runs up to whomever and double hoovies their ankles and calves, then runs off. It's a game we play.

And when I see a malefactor (snake, rodent, gopher, and the like) I say, TINK! IT'S TRYING TO EAT YOUR FOOD! IT'S STEALING FROM THE FAMILY!

And boy does this serial kitteh go running full throttle at whatever she sees first that has it coming. Then she hears, IT'S EATING YOUR FOOD.

well, that's just it. It's the end. I've seen her sit over holes in the ground 3...4...hours straight...just to get the trespasser. And she always brings these gifts of dead bodies into the house to dump on the kitchen floor or leave at the entrance from where I sleep, the den.

Mike...Mike just drags his bloody carcass home every morning, after a night's perimeter defense, very often barely alive. Let's me iodine his wounds, feed him, and then he finds some quiet place wherever to heal. usually the hall closet or Randy's bed.

They are a real blessing and fun to watch how much they "protect" us.

Right now as I was reading this, Breezy is laying in the floor on his back with his legs spread. Bahahahaha!

Miracle was always the mouse catcher. The first one was still alive and Rob took it outside and tossed it off the porch. I was a little upset over that, saying, "You can just toss a mouse off the porch". The next one caught was tossed but it was already dead so it didn't matter anyway.

I think Breezy is more of a bugs catching cat. But he needs to step up his game and get all the spiders.

All of this is in the house because at this location there are two huge dogs, which neither Miracle nor Breezy liked.

Also, there is STILL a HUGE eagle nesting across the trees from us, and that thing catches rabbits, and I would prefer to never let Breezy become "eagle food". So Breezy stays inside now and won't even try to go out. Miracle would't either. They know that the dogs and "big bird" is out there. So we buy the weekly wheatgrass thingy for Breezy and after it withers, go and get him another one.

Miracle was protective in a different way. Rob left the kitchen faucet running and it was already running over, and Miracle was going nuts meowing VERY loud. So he was alerting us to a "danger". Another time, Breezy sneaked into the laundry room, and we didn't see him, so he was stuck in there for about an hour, and Miracle was outside the door with his "moaning meow", and when Rob opened the door, Breezy walked out.

Miracle always favored Robert over me, and Breezy tends to favor me. But they love us both.
