The starting place for legislative activists is "one person, one vote". This is not much when going up against big pharma.

However, when you can add a legal argument that the bill in question is unlawful, you can say to your reps, "you can't vote for this, because it's unlawful," which can add substantial power to your "one
person, one vote" position. Here's a formal legal argument that explains why AB 2109 is unconstitutional, among other things. If at all possible, hand this to your rep in person (they
or their staff might actually read if it you do that), but get it to them one way or another, it will add power to your position. Spread this to all CA activists!
