Three students at a Maine school were recently given flu shots without consent from their parents, according to media reports. A spokesperson for Northern Light Health, the health group that administered the vaccinations, said the children were given the shots “without fully executed, or completely documented consent." USA Today reported.
In a statement, the Sanford School Department said Northern Light personnel didn't notice that forms for the vaccine had not been signed by the parents of the three students. In one situation, the form was signed but was crossed out and that student was given the shot anyway.

"The situation has caused us to re-assess and re-examine our flu shot process going forward," Superintendent of Schools Mark Nelson said.
In a social media post, one parent said their child had received the shot twice.
“I was upset. I was more than upset," George Kimball, the father of a seventh-grade girl, told WCSH-TV. "[My daughter] had the paper in her hand she asked me if I signed her up for a flu shot and I said no and she says I got one.”
The girl was vaccinated Oct. 22, he said. About 300 students in the school district have received the vaccine, Nelson said.
Flu vaccine permission slips are given to students to bring at the start of each school year. Kimball said NorthernLight apologized and said someone would get in touch with him. He has not yet heard back, according to the newspaper.

It's frustrating and saddening seeing people complain about being medically abused and they keep going back and it's like they are without proper direction & don't know of any other way to help themselves. Why do y'all think I post and watch all the summit stuff? I LOVE to read and research. And then I try and do this and that, even if by trial and error, until I find what works for me. This is another reason why people need to unschool all of their children and consult for other families in this focus. Let's teach the next generation to be in charge of themselves! Give them tasks to research vaccine ingredients, let them look up each ingredient via the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets). Give them nice rewards for doing their due diligence. And so on.
Sonja Christine Schulz It's very sad. They took away some people's ability to govern themselves. They created this patriarchal model and people don't have the emotional tools to break free. I'm in alternative health and even when some people want to break free and want to seek alternatives, they're looking for a replacement "abusive dad". And they want that magic pill that dad promised. They don't want to change, or educate themselves, they just want to switch dads and have him take care of it. The only people i see making headway are the people who know they have to become the primary medical officer and researcher and then they decide the correct outside help they need.
Pretty much what I have done is take matters into my own hands. Which is why I just toughed it out with this last flu or whatever and treated myself with what I all I knew to do. it was a 2-week hell, but I came out of it finally.

Please know that the majority of states still offer a religious exemption (Excluding CA, WV, MS). To my knowledge, healthcare workers have until October 31st to submit a religious exemption form. Unfortunately, most hospitals will make you appear before a committee and present your case. This has intimidated many employees into receiving the shot, because they are not well-versed or armed with the correct information-at-hand to present such a case. In an effort to help, we have provided a sample letter for you to use or modify if you want to refuse the vaccination.
If for whatever reason you are still forced to take the influenza vaccination, we recommend you ask the following questions:
--What is the lot number, manufacturer and name of the vaccine?
--May I see the insert for the vaccine?
--What are the contraindications for immunocompromised people or those with allergies? **PLEASE NOTE** EGG ALLERGY NO LONGER CONSIDERED MEDICAL EXEMPTION. Egg allergy is no longer a medical contraindication. You must contact OHS to have your name added to the list of employees who require egg-free vaccine. When egg-free vaccine becomes available this fall, OHS will contact employees who require it.

Draw up a birth plan, notarize it, BE SPECIFIC on EVERYTHING! Give to doctor, head of delivery, head nurse, nursery, everyone... Better yet, put in the birhtplan that the baby is to stay in the room with mother at ALL times! Have an attorney ready just in case.
